What is the Wildland CSA all about?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a system that connects the eater (you), with farmers (us), in a more intimate, community centered way. Our CSA program will provide us with the resources we need to continue our work as land stewards. The garden is booming with life, both below and above the soil. We farm with all organic and eco-focused practices including farming without the use of tons of plastic and by minimally disturbing the soil through low to no tillage. By joining, you will be supporting young, first generation farmers as more and more farmers are retiring and you will be helping protect local farm land from further development. You will be making an investment in healthy soil, clean air and water, and be keeping your food dollars in our local economy. You’ll be eating ultra-fresh, flavorful, vibrant, healthy food harvested and grown with love (yes, you can taste the love!).

Our market farm has just over an acre of in-production-land with over 80 varieties of vegetables and fruits throughout the growing season. Though the entirety of Wildland also consists of a small orchard of cherry and Italian plum trees, Christmas trees, as well as the rewilding of areas and of course our cozy and community centered brewery and marketplace.

Sign up to support Wildland Cooperative in our fifth season growing on and stewarding this beautiful land on Green Bluff!

How does our CSA program work?

  1. Subscribe for the season; membership requires half of the payment up front (non-refundable) with the second half being due the first week of May 2026

  2. Choose the share size and pricing tier that best fits your needs (see below for more information)

  3. Choose from one of the following locations where you’d like to pick-up weekly:

    • South Perry Thursday Market on the South Hill in Spokane every Thursday from 3-7pm

    • Wildland Coop Taproom on Green Bluff Thursday 3-7pm

    • Wildland Coop Taproom on Green Bluff Saturday 12-7pm

    4. Enjoy your seasonal goodies for the week and come back with your tote the following week for another round of farm fresh vegetables, culinary herbs, and fruit!

Share Sizes:

  1. Full season 20 weeks

  2. Short season 12 weeks

Tiered Pricing:

In an effort to take steps towards a more equitable and accessible local food system, we are introducing a tiered pricing system for our CSA program. What does this mean? There are three pricing tiers with limited spots in each for you to honestly and without question assess and determine what your ability is in participation for our 2026 CSA Season. Tier one of each share is considered full price, whereas tier two and three are both discounted (pricing for each tier and share size is below).

As we look at the fragility of our food system at a national, state, and local level, farms at all sizes and growing methods are also negatively impacted. We want nothing more than for our communities to eat nourishing and wholesome food as we see this as a right over a privilege. This is where we ask for help from our wonderful community. We can’t do it alone! Will you help us in showing up for our neighbors? All donations sent will be directly funneled into the discounted tiers. If you feel called to donate any amount of assistance, but do not want to participate in the CSA program–thank you! If you can’t wait to receive your weekly box of veggies again and send the donation link to your friends and family–thank you! Any action in between–a heartfelt thank you!

For transparency's sake, the number of available shares in each tier and share are detailed below. This is what we are able to start with after acknowledging our own needs. We will of course be keeping an eye on how this all unfolds. We are in this together!

We do not have a way to take SNAP or WIC payments for CSA in full, but if you have benefits and want to participate in our 2026 CSA program, then please reach out to Riley at farm@wildland.coop to see if we can work together to figure something out.

Wildland Farm CSA Disclaimers:

  • I understand my first half payment is non-refundable.

  • I ensure I pick my CSA box up the day/time that I initially choose for guaranteed freshness. I understand that I have the opportunity to skip one week to pick it up the following week once throughout the CSA season only when contacting the Wildland Farm Manager at farm@wildland.coop no later than one week before my scheduled pick up and getting confirmation. If I’m out of town and cannot make my pick up day, I can gift it to a friend and arrange an alternate pick-up person after I’ve skipped once already. If my CSA is not picked up by the end of the week, Wildland will donate it to a local organization on my behalf.

  • I understand that no substitutions or switching of produce items is possible. Wildland will reach out at the beginning of May to confirm my pick-up location and charge the second half of my CSA payment.

  • I understand that signing up for the CSA will give me a seasonal share of produce that is grown on Wildland’s market farm, and that I also share in the risks of organic farming and the potential for crop misfortunes due to environmental and weather conditions.

  • I will return the reusable CSA bin weekly at pick-up to be used throughout the season. If I prefer to load my weekly produce into my own tote, then I will bring it to pick-up. If I do not return my bin at the end of the season, there will be a charge to cover the cost of the bin.

  • “The produce really was gorgeous, and felt especially nourishing knowing more of its origins and the care ya'll put into the growth and harvest. It was also a treat to get to know the gals a bit at pick up as well as some of the other CSA folks we'd see week to week. I really appreciated your flexibility on weeks that we were out of town - allowing someone else to pick it up for us, or delaying our pick up by a day or two, that makes it feel do-able to consider for future summers.”

  • “Participating in this CSA got us in the habit of getting to the farmer's market every week, which was great. We also ate things that we would have never selected ourselves or gotten around to making (like big batches of pesto!).”
